A Typical Day The Assistant Vice President Process Optimization will be the Broker Direct Lending organization's leader on cost-to-service efforts as well as projects and strategies that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. As the AVP Process Optimization, you will identify opportunities to improve cost-to-service, propose changes and strategies for improvement, and then be responsible for the successful implementation of the changes. The Assistant VP Process Optimization will: Champion projects and strategies designed to lower cost-to-service Collaborate with analytics, finance, change management, and project management teams to identify, quantify, prioritize, and implement strategies and process changes Work closely with Broker Direct managers to understand their processes at a detailed level and identify potential opportunities for improvement Research and analyze the expense associated with major functions in Broker Direct Monitor, quantify and evaluate financial impacts of strategy and process changes and provide regular updates on progress vs. original plan/forecast Develop reporting that details the current state of cost-to-service as well as the projected impacts of future opportunities Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values What You'll Bring6+ years of business analysis experience, preferably within the mortgage industry 2+ years of experience in an influencing or leadership role Mortgage fulfillment and loan data or financial analysis a strong plus Demonstrated track record of making analysis-supported recommendations and leading cross-functional change Why You Should Join As one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
