SANITATION TECHNICIAN - $16.35 - $20.34

Rinse, foam, and sanitize the equipment, lines, walls, and machines in a certain area of the processing plant. Follow all the safety precautions and proper procedures when using chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing. Follow all plant and sanitation safety procedures including LOTO, food safety, ladder safety, and power equipment. Follow the written specification for color coding of edible and non-edible food. Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official such as product tampering, unauthorized employees in restricted area, and equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake. Follow the written specification for Standard Sanitation Operational Procedures or SSOP’s for each piece of equipment assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
