Requirements: To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, preferred. Experience: Five (5) to ten (10) years of related experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience). Healthcare experience preferred. Experience with employee relations preferred. Ability to work effectively under stress of meeting deadlines and responding and adapting to change. Ability to relate well with health system employees, physicians, board members and visitors. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Proficient word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software skills. Licenses/Certification: SHRM-CP, SCP, or PHR preferred Responsibilities: We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional service. As part of the team Human Resources, you will: Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leaders, providing consultation on workforce strategy, employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. Partner with leaders to address workforce challenges and develop proactive solutions that support departmental and organizational goals. Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement aligned with the GVH Cultural Operating System and Just Culture principles. Support the design and coordination of leadership and staff development initiatives, including Leadership Academy and Lean Green Belt programming. Mentor and support new leaders during their first year to strengthen leadership effectiveness and organizational alignment. Partner with leaders to enhance the employee experience from onboarding through ongoing engagement. Facilitate the annual Employee Engagement Survey process in collaboration with HR Director, including participation support, results interpretation, and action planning with leadership. Collaborate with leaders to ensure HR-related compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including Joint Commission, Rural Health Clinic Designation, and State of Colorado requirements. Support organizational readiness for regulatory surveys by ensuring workforce training, orientation, and personnel file documentation meet standards. Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee relations issues, performance concerns, and conflict resolution. Support leaders in performance management processes, corrective action, and documentation to ensure fairness, consistency, and regulatory compliance. Partner with the HR team to support key workforce initiatives and organizational projects. Provide cross-functional support within the HR department as needed to ensure continuity of services.
