Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of industrial processing equipment. You'll need experience in with Material feed systems, Scales, Blenders and Plastic Processing equipment. Shifts: 1st Shift M-F 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; 2nd Shift M-F 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM; 3rd Shift M-F 12:00 AM to 08:00 AM Key Responsibilities: Conduct preventative maintenance on processing equipment including extrusion lines, chillers, and auxiliary plastic processing machinery, following manufacturer specifications. Fabricate machinery and storage systems (minimum 5 years of experience required). Perform welding tasks (strong welding experience preferred). Troubleshoot control systems for processing equipment. Apply industrial electrical knowledge (experience is a plus). Operate lathe and milling machines for general machining tasks. Maintain organized workspaces using 5S methodology. Work independently with minimal supervision. Safely lift and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs. Perform general rigging and operate forklifts. Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Qualifications: 5 years' experience in machinery maintenance and fabrication. 2+ years experience with material feed systems, scales, blenders and Plastic Processing equipment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with machining tools and techniques. Forklift certification and LOTO training are preferred.
