Summary: The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Analyst is to ensure that enterprise solutions conform to the approved functional specifications upon which the product design and development are based. Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Design, development and execution of custom test plans Track defects, resolution and documentation via QA testing tools Create and execute test scenarios (i.e., test cases, conditions) to support application releases and infrastructure migrations and upgrades. Perform regression and smoke testing to support application releases and infrastructure migrations and upgrades Interaction / communication/ follow through with other team members throughout testing phase to facilitate iterative cycle Create user guides and documentation as necessary Adhere to a set schedule. Other duties as assigned. Competencies: Planning/organizing-the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently. Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Safety and security-the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to work independently, often as the only QAA assigned to a project Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience Proficient with MS Office Suite Exceptional telephone demeanor Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar position Ability to use discretion, exercise good judgment and resourcefulness. Practical working knowledge of software testing methodology Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with development staff Preferred: Experience with SQL Experience with Power Systems 3-5 years' experience in a Quality Assurance Team Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis: Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor. Sedentary position. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day. Workers are not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Lifting and/or carrying (Manipulate small and/or large bulky objects Standing, reaching, kneeling, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling may be required. Pay Ranges: Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including skills, experience, work location and more. We offer competitive pay while still allowing for compensation growth within the position and company. Pay Range 54,000 - 54,000 Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
