Anticipated End Date: 2026-03-20 Position Title: Computer Operator II /Data Center Job Description: Computer Operator II /Data Center PLEASE NOTE: This position is not eligible for current or future visa sponsorship Location: This role requires associates to work from the posted location (Shelbyville, KY) full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. We administer government contracts for Medicare and partner with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to transform federal health programs. The Computer Operator II will be responsible for supporting our 24/7 data center from 7pm to 7am (night shift). They will monitor all systems, facilities equipment, and cabling. How you will make an impact: Monitors daily/nightly batch processing schedules to ensure job flows are completed in a timely manner. Provides backup to the help desk during off hours to ensure customer requests for systems access are met. Cabling (both copper and fiber), cable testing, labeling gear/network cables and updating site cable guide. Network/server monitoring systems. Writing and maintaining quality procedures. Racking/stacking servers and switches. Collect PUE readings. Ensures all system or production problems are recognized and appropriate action is taken to meet batch processing and online schedules. Adheres to standard data management practices, monitoring backup data and ensures that off-site requirements are met for midrange and/or mainframe /LAN servers and workstations. Ensures documentation is written and kept updated on current procedures. Ensures out-of-house data is available for distribution. Minimum Requirements: Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 1 year of personal computer experience with telecommunications and network environments, midrange or mainframe systems. This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: Experience working in Datacenters (hot aisle/cold aisle) strongly preferred. Ability to install/modify on modular servers/chassis/blades with network drive provided or operator obtained manuals. Ability to lift over 50 pounds strongly preferred. Basic PCI card installation knowledge strongly preferred.
