Position Overview The Truck Driver will safely and efficiently deliver products and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner. Experience driving a standard tractor-trailer, hauling flatbed, and operating a Piggyback forklift is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Operate a commercial motor vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws. Deliver materials to residential and commercial customers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over the required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations. Maneuver trucks and trailer into loading and unloading areas. Load and unload material using a Piggyback forklift. Conduct pre-, during-, and post-trip inspections according to FMCSA guidelines. Strap and tarp load securely. Ensure all shipping credentials are correct with quantity and product. Work with dispatch for loads, destinations, and confirmations. Maintain and protect company property. Report equipment or mechanical failures immediately. Comply with all DOT/FMCSA and in-house regulations. Perform other tasks assigned to support team operations. Work Schedule & Overtime: Full-time, non-exempt hourly position - eligible for overtime pay after 40 hours in a workweek. Standard work hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - until all work is completed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines and business demands. Employees will be notified in advance of any additional hours and will be compensated accordingly for all overtime worked. Qualifications & Skills: Current valid Class A CDL issued by only one state of jurisdiction. Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience. No DWI/DUI in the last 5 years. No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years. Must be at least 21 years old. Ability to read and speak English fluently. Physically qualified to operate a CMV under Sec. 391.41. Provide list of violations per Sec. 391.27. Successfully complete a road test. Experience strapping and tarping loads. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
