About the Opportunity We are looking for an SAP-SCM Functional Manufacturing Specialist to provide deep SAP functional expertise supporting global manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role plays a critical part in designing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions that enable efficient, compliant, and scalable business processes across their global supply chain. This is a senior individual contributor role with functional architecture responsibilities, ideal for an SAP SCM expert who enjoys working across complex, integrated environments and influencing long term platform strategy. What You'll Do In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and functional architect across SAP Supply Chain Management domains, partnering closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver high impact solutions. Key Responsibilities Include: Design, configure, and support SAP application solutions for global manufacturing and supply chain operations Deliver new system capabilities, enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance Lead requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications Support full project lifecycles including design, build, testing, deployment, and post go live hyper care Perform configuration reviews, functional testing, design validation, and user training Provide guidance on SAP upgrades, new releases, and integration of emerging SAP technologies Conduct performance monitoring, capacity planning, and solution optimization Ensure compliance with all corporate, divisional, and regulatory policies Produce complete project documentation including change requests, specifications, test results, and validation artifacts SAP Functional Areas of Focus This role requires broad, hands-on experience across SAP SCM, including: Production Planning (PP) Production Planning for Process Industries (PP/PI) Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) Quality Management (QM) Warehouse Management (WM / EWM) Inventory Management and Logistics Operations (Experience with Transportation Management is a plus) Functional Architecture Responsibilities As a functional architect, you will also: Define and maintain SAP SCM solution architecture standards Design cross process integrations and end-to-end data flows Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards Review and approve functional and technical solution designs Influence long term SAP platform strategy and global roadmap decisions Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related business or technical discipline 10-15 years of hands-on experience across SAP SCM functional areas (PP PI, QM, WM/EWM, Logistics) Proven experience contributing to or leading SAP functional solution architecture Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business and senior leaders Demonstrated ability to collaborate across global, cross functional teams Experience working with service providers and ensuring operational excellence and SLA compliance Ability to influence outcomes and deliver results through strong relationships Comfortable being firm, fair, and consistent in driving deliverables and standards Preferred Qualifications Experience within regulated industries, ideally healthcare or life sciences Prior project, program, or team leadership experience Strong understanding of business processes, cost drivers, and operational impacts in manufacturing and supply chain environments #INDPRO #LI-SD1
