Position Summary: Supply Chain Director manages the flow of raw materials, finished goods and customer orders through the fulfillment system by developing and implementing strategies to ensure customer quality and delivery expectations are met or exceeded at the lowest possible cost to FyterTech. Reporting to the Senior VP of Operations, this role is responsible for all facets of Supply Chain functions including purchasing, inventory control, vendor negotiations, production planning, forecasting and demand planning, and logistics at our facilities located in the greater Green Bay WI area. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Support the company's team-based, customer focused, flexible, entrepreneurial culture with a positive, can-do attitude. Work with leadership to develop, recommend and implement strategies to continually improve, reduce cost and eliminate waste throughout the supply chain functions. Build relationships with priority vendors to ensure consistent high value support and supply of goods and services. Evaluate potential suppliers based on value, price, quality, delivery time. Partner with Quality in supplier qualification, deficiency improvement process, customer complaint resolution, etc. Lead negotiation efforts to land more profitable arrangements. Ensure the raw material and finished goods inventory requirements meet the company's cost and customer service objectives. Lead the development, evaluation and improvement to inventory and vendor performance KPI reporting Demonstrate a true hands-on approach with the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the team to ensure a high level of employee engagement. Establish annual goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in coordination with leadership and corporate objectives, and manage performance to ensure attainment. Effectively lead large scale changes or process improvements by effectively using basic change management processes and drive action through a consultative, "influence without authority" approach. Continually improve supply chain systems, infrastructure, and tool sets, implementing new systems and tools as needed to drive and deliver results in a rapidly changing and growing organization. Work closely and collaborate across all functional teams. Effectively lead, mentor, coach, and develop skills in a diverse team across the different supply chain functions Travel required roughly 10% of the time, primarily related to trade show and vendor visits. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Leads by example in a manner that demonstrates a full commitment to the Company's standards, vision, values and principles. A proven leader able to operate in a multi-site environment. Passionate about creating value through efficient use of resources to meet or exceed the expectations of stakeholders throughout the purchasing, planning, production scheduling, inventory, warehouse, logistics, and transportation functions. Has strong quantitative and analytical skills. Possesses exceptional business acumen and learning agility to quickly comprehend FyterTech's business model, products, services, solutions offered, and strategic growth plans. Comfortable with quantitative / metric-based approaches and a Performance-Driven Culture. Experience engaging with international suppliers and logistics carriers. Has high intelligence, curiosity, initiative, and highly disciplined with extraordinary written and verbal communication skills. Desire to learn and grow Can concisely convey complex information to team members at all levels of the organization Adept at forming relationships with internal and external stakeholders at varying organizational levels. Is hands-on when necessary, engaged but able to delegate appropriately. Has a strong bias for action, a keen sense of urgency, and the ability to drive results. Possesses good listening skills and can solicit ideas to get optimal solutions. Demonstrates strong ethical judgment. Strength in process improvement, SOP documentation and knowledge transfer. Work Relationship and Scope: Reports to the SVP of Global Operations and works closely with Operations, Sales, Customer Service and all other colleagues at FyterTech to accomplish established goals. Works daily with highly confidential business information. Measures of Performance: Safety, quality, accuracy, reliability, friendliness, thoroughness and timeliness of services provided to internal and external customers; adherence to FyterTech's policies and procedures; ability to earn the trust and respect of employees and co-workers; effectively communicates and develops good working relationships with co-workers; professional workplace appearance and conduct; keeps FyterTech, customer, and employee information confidential; participates in training and appropriate professional development; reliability in reporting to work regularly and on time; understands and adheres to FyterTech policies and procedures. Working Conditions: Work is performed within the normal FyterTech setting. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. Work hours are generally during normal business hours, as both scheduled and unscheduled work hours may arise. Must be able to bend, twist, turn and lift/move up to fifty pounds.
