Travel Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology (13-week) | Plano, TX Travel Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology in Plano, TX. ARRT required. 13-week travel assignment (2/9/2026 - 5/11/2026) on a high-volume IR team. Job Details Location: Plano, TX 75075 (Collin County) - Texas radiology jobs, Plano healthcare) Setting: Hospital - Interventional Radiology, A Tower 1st Floor Assignment Length: 13 weeks (2/9/2026 - 5/11/2026) Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday On-Call: Average 13 days per month, including 1-2 weekends (call teams of 2 techs and 2 nurses) Hours per Week: 40 Dress Code: Steel grey scrubs Role Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist / Interventional Radiology Technologist - ideal for ARRT-certified IR techs and neuro interventional technologists Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,030-$2,190 Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with recent Interventional Radiology experience Neuro interventional experience required (thrombectomies, coilings, spinal angiograms) Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required - trauma angiograms experience preferred Current ARRT certification required (primary credential for radiology technologist roles) VI registry, Meditech EMR, and Phillips equipment experience preferred (Phillips biplane and single plane) Proven adaptability to different physician preferences, strong teamwork and communication skills Comfort with rotating call schedule and collaborative call team environment Responsibilities Perform a variety of interventional radiology and neuro interventional procedures, including thrombectomies, coilings, MMA embolizations, spinal angiograms, and endovascular cases Support IR body procedures such as g-tube placements, biopsies, PCNs, Mediports, and TIPS Assist with trauma angiograms (spleen, liver, GDA, renal, etc.) and urgent endovascular interventions Operate and maintain Phillips imaging equipment (2 biplanes and 1 single plane) and other angiography systems Document procedures, patient data, and imaging using Meditech, GE Centricity PACS, and hospital EMR systems Participate in a rotating call schedule as part of a collaborative call team with nurses and techs Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality imaging standards in a fast-paced hospital environment Professional Development & Support Professional development and exposure to high-acuity interventional cases - great opportunity for IR and neuro interventional technologists Local support from the staffing team and access to clinical resources and orientation Plano, TX is a vibrant suburb of Dallas with excellent quality of life, parks, dining, and entertainment-an attractive location for traveling radiologic technologists and imaging professionals relocating for short-term assignments.
