Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel | Maryville, IL (62062) 13-week travel nursing assignment for an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN) in Maryville, Illinois (St. Louis area). Immediate need for a Cardiac Cath Lab RN with 2+ years of cath lab experience, current Illinois RN license, and ACLS/BLS certifications. Job Details Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,570-$2,710 Assignment Type: Travel nursing job (13-week travel assignment) Location: Maryville, IL 62062 - near the greater St. Louis area (Illinois nursing jobs) Setting: Acute Care Hospital - Cardiac Cath Lab (7 beds, 2 procedure rooms) Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: June 29, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30) Hours per Week: 40 On-Call: 1 call day per week (17:30 - 07:00) and 1 call weekend every 3 weeks (Friday 17:30 - Monday 07:00) Scrub Color: Navy blue for RNs Charting: Meditech (experience preferred; training provided) Parking: Free in designated employee lots Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required (cardiac cath lab, interventional cardiology) Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) ACLS and BLS certifications required Experience with circulating, conscious sedation, and telemetry required Travel nursing experience required (previous travel nurse assignments preferred) Meditech charting experience preferred Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs Ability to participate in on-call rotation as described Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for adult and geriatric patients Circulate and assist with a variety of cardiac procedures (diagnostic/interventional caths, pacemaker insertion, TEE, cardioversion, and more) Administer and monitor conscious sedation and maintain patient safety during procedures Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and respond to emergent cases Utilize and manage specialized cardiovascular devices and equipment (Impella, balloon pump, IVUS, etc.) Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and physicians to ensure quality cardiac care Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases as needed (travel cath lab RN responsibilities) Document care accurately using Meditech and maintain compliance with hospital policies Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment and follow all facility and regulatory standards Why join this travel nursing job?
