Additional information on how to complete the two-page resume is located at The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Training Manager and primary point of contact between the training team assigned to one of the squadrons and the Group Training Manager within the 402d AMXG mission. Utilizes TSS/PACS and other approved systems to distribute, oversee, manage and analyze training data for other members of training team. Educates and supports production leadership and enables them to identify, plan and forecast training capabilities to accomplish mission requirements. Provides guidance on AFMC, AFSC , DOD and local policies to ensure compliance with governing directives. Provides administrative support by managing and scheduling training events, conducting monthly briefings, and generating reports, correspondence and appointment letters to measure training productivity and effectiveness. Mission Statement - Programs within the 402d Aircraft Maintenance Group executes training, Voluntary Protection Program, business development, and compliance programs for the group. Serves as focal point for all training requirements and requests. Coordinates, implements and briefs all aspects of group training. Develops, coordinates, and evaluates training courses and funding requirements. Provides various status reports to upper management and WR-ALC customers. Ensures completion of training suspenses. Develops, administers, and revises structured on-the-job training requirements and interfaces with squadrons on Production Acceptance Certification training requirements. Coordinates vocational technical training. Oversees and executes business development activities throughout the group, developing and providing recommendations related to new business opportunities. Oversees group inspection and aerospace standard programs. Duty 1: Prepares and coordinates plans for the development of training programs and courses in subject-matter areas and groupings aligned with Air Force (AF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), and Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) objectives. Duty 2: Oversees and manages official training generated records, documents, and procurement of training certifications and materials. Serves as the primary office records manager, ensuring physical and electronic records are properly distributed, filed, and destroyed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and procedures. Duty 3: Provides customer assistance and/or training for special request. Provides professional customer service to all customers and acknowledges the customer request promptly. Coordinates with senior leadership to establish training courses that cut across a variety of specialty and program areas in education and training. Duty 4: Manages annual training budget, equipment, and supply inventory. Forecasts training equipment replacement and replenishment of supplies to support approval of annual budget. Submits work order requests for equipment repairs and purchases. Qualifications: 1. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing. 2. Knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance. 3. Knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas. 4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations. 5. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution. 6. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required. Requirements: 1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position. 2. May be required to travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) for training or mission accomplishment. 3. May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours. 4.
