Field Support/Driver Gibbs Construction is seeking a Field Support/Driver to join our team! We are looking for team players who are dedicated, organized, and effective. The Field Support / Driver (FSD) is responsible for supporting field operations through the safe and timely transportation of company equipment, tools, and job site materials. The FSD performs local job site deliveries, "hot shot" runs, and assists with the routine upkeep of company equipment and facilities to ensure operational readiness. In addition to delivery responsibilities, the FSD supports basic equipment maintenance, organization, and building upkeep, helping maintain safe, functional work environments. This role works closely with the Equipment & Facilities Manager and office staff to respond to daily operational needs and contribute to efficient job site support. Essential Responsibilities: Safely picks up, transports, and delivers large equipment, small equipment, tools, and job site supplies to and from local job sites Performs scheduled and unscheduled ("hot shot") delivery runs to support field operations and office needs Assists with loading, unloading, securing, and staging equipment and materials for transport Conducts basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment prior to use Reports equipment issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly to the Equipment & Facilities Manager Assists with basic equipment upkeep, cleaning, and organization in the yard and warehouse Helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, yard, and storage areas Supports routine building and facility maintenance tasks as assigned Assists with checking equipment in and out and verifying delivery locations and job site assignments Follows all company safety policies, DOT requirements, and job site rules while operating vehicles and equipment Maintains accurate delivery documentation and communicates schedule changes or delays Coordinates with superintendents, field crews, and office staff to ensure timely job site and office support Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) CDL Driver's License Gibbs Construction is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
