Plant Manager

A growing industrial manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead day-to-day operations at a single-site facility. This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader who wants real ownership, floor-level impact, and the chance to help scale a plant under growth conditions. The Role You’ll own daily manufacturing execution across multiple production areas in a high-mix environment that blends manual processes with increasing automation. The focus is on stability, throughput, quality, and people leadership. What You’ll Do Lead all day-to-day plant operations Remove bottlenecks and improve flow in a capacity-constrained environment Develop and mentor a junior supervisory team Drive quality, safety, and process discipline Partner with engineering and planning to support execution Support integration of new equipment and automation This Role Is a Fit If You: Have led multiple departments or value streams Have managed large hourly teams Come from a $25M+ manufacturing environment Prefer being visible, hands-on, and accountable Want more ownership without needing an immediate title jump This Role Is Not a Fit If You: Are stepping up directly from a supervisor role Have only managed one department or shift Are seeking a multi-site or executive position Ideal Background 7+ years of manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in leadership Industrial, durable goods, or engineered products manufacturing ERP-based environment experience Interested?
