Patient Services Representative Join our team as a Patient Services Representative or Patient Access professional, where you'll serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring an exceptional experience during their visits. Responsibilities include patient registration, verifying insurance, collecting co-payments, and providing support throughout the patient care process. Key responsibilities include: Greeting patients and verifying demographic, financial, and insurance information. Accurately processing patient registrations and obtaining necessary signatures. Calculating and collecting payments such as co-pays and deductibles. Providing excellent customer service, helping patients with inquiries and directions. Collaborating with financial counselors on complex cases. Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. One year of relevant experience in patient access or customer service preferred. EPIC experience preferred. Knowledge of insurance processes and medical terminology. Strong communication and time management skills. Pay Range: $24-29.00 per hour depending on location and shift.
