Procurement Specialist Community Care is hiring a Procurement Specialist to join our team. This rewarding opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys team collaboration, and being part of a mission driven organization. Community Care's mission is to help elderly individuals and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities continue to live as independently as possible in the community. There is a potential to work from home after your 90 day probationary period. One day a week will be required in the office. Office day will be based on scheduling. No weekends or Holidays required. This position is full-time 40 hours a week. Procurement Job Responsibilities: Brightree Processing Accurately keys sales order data into the Brightree processing system and resolves routine edits up to assigned complexity and according to established Materials Management procedures. Ordering & Follow-Up Orders supplies, equipment and services based on approved ARP authorization or Intergy task, or a CCI approved purchase request. Creates a sales order or purchase orders for supplies, equipment and services based on one of the following an approved ARP authorizations, Intergy Task or a CCI purchase request. Item Receipts Insures and verifies that all items are receipted into the Brightree System within 48 hours of delivery. Enters sales order confirmation within 48 hours of item(s) being received. Reconcile Brightree Data Reconciles the Brightree data by month end insuring prompt payment to vendors avoiding late fees. Procurement - Quality Assurance Assures satisfaction, quality, and low cost for products and services. Procurement Improvements Works with staff and vendors to improve procurement procedures including on-line ordering or invoicing procedures. Procurement Specialist Job Requirements: Experience: Required A minimum of 1 year of procurement experience or related field. Or a minimum of 2 years of procurement experience in a healthcare environment with a high school diploma. Preferred: Healthcare DME/DMS product experience preferred. Education: Required High School Diploma or GED Procurement Specialist Job Schedule: 7:00 A.M to 3:30 PM.
