Procurement Analyst The Procurement Analyst is a key contributor within Kalsec's Procurement Team, responsible for delivering data-driven insights that support supply resilience, cost competitiveness, and inventory optimization across a complex, global raw-material network. This role builds international market intelligence, supports multi-echelon inventory optimization strategies, and provides analytical rigor to sourcing decisions, risk mitigation, and budget governance. Essential Job Responsibilities: Design, automate, and govern analytical dashboards and standard reports (Power BI, Excel, Streamlit, Snowflake Cortex, Business Objects SAP) covering spend, purchase price variance (PPV), supplier performance, and inventory. Develop and maintain international market intelligence for agricultural and botanical raw materials (e.g., spices, herbs, oleoresins, essential oils, solvents) and packaging, including supply/demand dynamics, pricing trends, trade flows, and risk exposure. Support procurement budgeting and forecasting processes, including monthly forecasts of cash, purchasing variance, and inventory. Model and recommend multi-echelon inventory optimization activity and policies (safety stock, reorder points, min/max levels by site and seasonality) to prevent stock-outs while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence. Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecards (on-time delivery, lead-time adherence, quality incidents, responsiveness, sustainability/traceability) and support corrective action plans. Model sourcing scenario simulations to optimize long term strategies. Build total cost of ownership (TCO) and should-cost models to support sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and forward-buy or index-based pricing decisions. Provide exception management analytics for raw-material purchase orders, including late deliveries, shortages, and expediting requirements, ensuring accurate master data and transactional integrity. Partner cross-functionally with Supply Planning, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Quality, and R&D to support continuity of supply and disciplined decision-making. Champion continuous improvement and adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and emerging AI tools across procurement and supply-chain processes. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Two or more years of experience in procurement, supply-chain analytics, or related roles within food & beverage, natural ingredients, agriculture, or process manufacturing industries. Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI or comparable visualization tools. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Working knowledge of international logistics concepts, Incoterms, and supplier performance management. Desired: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other languages and tools for advanced analytics. Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as ISM CPSM/CPSD and/or ASCM (APICS) CSCP or CPIM. Experience working with agricultural or botanical raw materials subject to seasonality and global market volatility. Experience with scenario modeling or simulations. Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehousing and imbedded tools Exposure to process automation, AI-enabled forecasting, or digital procurement transformation initiatives. Working Conditions: Regular use of Microsoft 365, ERP/MRP platforms, Power BI, and collaboration tools. Up to 1015% domestic and international travel, as required.
