Job Description

Office Administrator The Tecolote Los Angeles Operations is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, hands-on office administrator to coordinate local projects in a variety of areas including travel administration, purchasing, office social events (on-site and off-site), and provide varying levels of administrative support to management and staff -- all while protecting sensitive, personal and confidential data and materials. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: General administrative and office support Regular verbal and written communications with LA Operations staff, management, military and government personnel Back-up support to front desk reception including staffing the reception area, as needed Coordinating team meetings, office events, and holiday parties Managing inventory/supplies Organizing common areas including kitchen, break room, conference rooms, and reception area Other duties will be assigned as directed by business needs This position reports to the Los Angeles Human Resources Manager, works in partnership with senior office administrator, staff members, and multiple co-located company administrative team members. Skills required: A minimum of four years of relevant business office administration or administrative experience is required; DoD related experience a plus Excellent customer service skills Great attention to detail and accuracy Meeting deadlines Initiative Basic math skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong organization skills Willingness to learn new skills, technology, etc. as needed Must be able to work independently and have the ability to prepare, protect and handle sensitive, personal and company confidential documents and files Must be a team player willing to support and back-up colleagues as needed Proficiency in MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Slack are required Working knowledge of SharePoint, KiteWorks, MS Teams and Zoom is preferred Must have flexibility and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities Must have the ability to work well with all levels of staff, management and visitors Must adhere to company policies and procedures Ability to obtain a government security clearance is desired Bachelor's degree required US citizenship required On-site support 5 days per week during the hours of 8am - 5pm is required Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 DOE
