Technical Buyer Enovis Surgical is looking for a Buyer/Planner that will be responsible for the ongoing procurement and negotiations of materials, components, equipment, supplies and services that meet the quality standards of the company. Someone who will assume full responsibility for planning requirements and supply chain management to ensure timely (scheduled) deliveries of goods and services within budget and/or standard costs. They must be prepared to rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Key responsibilities include: Strategic procurement Assist sourcing team in developing and executing purchasing strategies for raw materials, components, and services used in reconstructive hip, knee, and shoulder implants Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory Supplier management Identify suppliers aligned with Enovis' innovation and compliance standards Along with the sourcing team, manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability and cost-efficiency Compliance & quality Ensure all procurement activities comply with FDA regulations and internal/external regulatory requirements Monitor supplier performance and assist quality in conducting audits as needed Cross-functional collaboration Partner with operations, R&D, sourcing, and finance teams to support product development and launch timelines Reporting & analytics Develop and track KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics Use ERP systems to maintain accurate purchasing records and generate reports Minimum basic qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field 5 years of purchasing experience in medical device manufacturing or high-tech industries Strong knowledge of FDA, ISO, and healthcare compliance standards Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
