Davis Unlimited Information Technologies, Inc (DUIT) wants you! We have an opening for a Staffing Coordinator SkillBridge intern in our office headquarters. Davis Unlimited Information Technologies (DUIT)'s SkillBridge program is developed so the Service member not only obtain industry skill sets, but also the skill sets required to meet customer's needs after completion of the SkillBridge program. We are looking to not only have the service member gain industry knowledge but also the knowledge required to employ them upon completion. The Path At our headquarters office in Maryland, we will assist retiring or transitioning Military Service members. DUIT has developed extensive SkillBridge job training and career development programs in the following career fields to enhance the opportunities for separating Service members: Program Manager Program Integrator Hardware Technician Acquisition Professional Network Engineer Software Engineer Cybersecurity Engineering IT Staffing All applicants must have the following: approval from command and able to follow training plan requirements. What You Will Do: Participate in full-cycle recruitment for assigned entry-level to senior level searches that require creative applications of knowledge to specific recruitment challenges. Work with hiring managers to develop position descriptions, provide counsel and recommendations. Source appropriate candidates through internal and external networks, industry events, DUIT's internal recruitment database and online electronic resources. Lead strategic sourcing and research activities, such as targeted sector and competitor mapping, to identify and build the talent network. Follow standardized processes to screen and select the best candidates, ensuring compliance with all governmental and client employment specifications. Facilitate decision-making by hiring managers in order to meet hiring deadlines. Support Talent Acquisition to improve recruitment processes and efficiencies across the agency, building partnerships with recruitment peers. Travel to the region to interview candidates in person and produce detailed trip reports. Ensure that all staffing documentation submitted with proposals complies with donor specifications (including letters of commitment, references, due diligence, and other proposal documents). Tailor candidates' CVs to address qualifications required for roles specified in proposals; provide other writing inputs to proposals, as needed. Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary. Qualifications & Skills: Willing to make consistent phone calls, including cold-calling, as necessary to schedule and conduct interviews. Willing to conduct interviews in-person, via phone, and or video conferencing. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 2 years of professional experience in recruiting talent OR 4 years of professional experience in a customer-facing role. Preference and ability to work in a team environment and relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a knack for asking good questions and seeking out others' perspectives. Eagerness to learn and experiment to find the best possible solutions. Desire for a career in a commission-driven, performance-based environment with a focus on identifying and pursuing beneficial new opportunities. Enthusiasm for networking and building strong relationships while maintaining high ethical standards. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with increasingly less direction. Willing to learn how to research technical areas to identify qualified candidates and inform hiring discussions. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal clients and external candidates, both verbally and in writing, as well as tailor communication style to different audiences. Able to write and/or tailor personnel deliverables for proposals and/or projects. Able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization and external clients from different backgrounds. Able and willing to travel to drive to events and or to various sites to engage in recruiting activities. Excellent interpersonal and time management skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle many tasks simultaneously, often with inflexible deadlines. Support Talent Acquisition to improve recruitment processes and efficiencies across the agency, building partnerships with recruitment peers. Travel to the region to interview candidates in person and produce detailed trip reports. Ensure that all staffing documentation submitted with proposals complies with donor specifications (including letters of commitment, references, due diligence, and other proposal documents). Tailor candidates' CVs to address qualifications required for roles specified in proposals; provide other writing inputs to proposals, as needed. Preferred, but not required: An active high-level authorization to view nondisclosed information that required an investigative screening exam and meet the minimum job requirements specified for applying position.
