Security Operations Specialist SME

Security Operations Specialist SME Mayvin is seeking a detail-oriented, highly experienced Security Operations Specialist SME to provide operational and administrative support for Security Management Services. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating personnel, physical, and information security activities while ensuring compliance with customer and Intelligence Community (IC) security policies. This role supports program management, tracks workflows, and ensures documentation and reporting meet task order requirements, enabling the customer's security mission to be executed efficiently and effectively. As a senior leader, the candidate will also provide direction to more junior team members and support the Program Management Office in ensuring smooth and consistent service delivery throughout the organization. This contract is pending award. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have an Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required. Responsibilities: Provide operational and administrative support for Security Management Services Coordinate personnel, physical, and information security activities Track clearance processing and support personnel security requirements Maintain accurate security records and documentation in accordance with IC and customer policies Support compliance with task order and IC security standards Develop and maintain reports to monitor security workflows and performance metrics Facilitate communication between security staff, program management, and government leadership Implement and maintain operational security processes to ensure efficiency and compliance Assist with special projects or initiatives to enhance security program operations Ensure day-to-day operations support the customer's security mission and objectives Qualifications: Advanced degree desired Minimum 10 years of relevant experience Experience supporting personnel, program, or information security operations in the IC Familiarity with ICD 704 and IC security policies and procedures Experience tracking and coordinating clearance processing and security compliance activities Ability to manage security documentation, records, and reporting requirements Professional certification (CPP, ISP, or similar) preferred Candidates must maintain a Professional Demeanor and are expected to dress professionally in support of the client About Mayvin: Mayvin is more than a workplaceit's a community built on innovation, inclusion, and impact.
