Chemours is seeking a Lead Capital Project Manager to join our dynamic Capital Execution team. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Capital Projects, you will play a pivotal role in leading significant capital projects across Chemours sites globally, contributing to our commitment to safety, quality, and innovation. Your primary responsibilities will encompass: Identifying and securing necessary Chemours engineering and design resources. Collaborating with managers to ensure proper staffing from engineering contractors to achieve project objectives. Documenting quality plans and measuring engineering productivity throughout the project lifecycle. Leading front-end engineering processes, including project scope preparation, budgeting, funding requests, integrated scheduling, and production design basis development. Encouraging clear communication within the engineering team to align on business and project goals. Defining project roles to ensure all team members understand their responsibilities and deliverables. Managing project scope changes and maintaining cost control according to approved budgets. Driving adherence to capital project work processes as outlined in the Chemours Project System. Facilitating problem-solving sessions to address schedules, budgets, and project constraints effectively. Ensuring design standards are met in agreements with both internal and external design teams. Qualifications for this role include: Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline. 10+ years of experience in managing capital projects. 5+ years of experience in a chemical plant environment. 5+ years in field construction or contract management. Strong communication and team-building skills. Ability to lead through influence. Experience working with engineering/design contractors. Proficient with project scheduling software. Knowledge of smart engineering/design tools. Fluent in Microsoft Office software. Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time. Preferred skills for this role: Direct supervisory experience is a plus. Experience in plant operations or maintenance is a plus.
