Position Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Senior Procurement Leader and take our procurement function to unprecedented levels. Key Responsibilities: Create and implement innovative procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives, establishing policies and governance frameworks for streamlined operations. Enhance supplier relationship management (SRM) by defining performance metrics and cultivating strategic partnerships. Establish a centralized procurement framework that clarifies roles, authority levels, and controls, evolving from decentralized purchasing. Oversee supplier onboarding and master data operations with a focus on data integrity and compliance. Implement standards for supplier master data to ensure high quality, accurate classification, and strategic reporting. Maximize the use of procurement technologies, particularly Workday Procurement, for optimal user experience and operational effectiveness. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across diverse spend categories, concentrating on market analysis and competitive bidding processes. Develop robust procurement analytics capabilities, producing insightful reports on spending patterns and supplier performance to inform strategic decisions. Conduct contract negotiations that yield advantageous agreements while ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with risk assessments. Drive organizational change management, fostering support for new processes and establishing procurement as a trusted advisor within the business. Qualifications: Required: A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, including at least 3 years in leadership roles. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present effectively to executives. A proven track record in transforming procurement organizations into strategic business functions. Significant experience in supplier relationship management and fostering long-term partnerships. Proficient in using procurement systems, especially enterprise platforms such as Workday, SAP Ariba, or Coupa. Strong expertise in supplier master data management and data quality frameworks. An analytical mindset with experience in procurement analytics and data visualization. Effective change management skills, demonstrating the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Preferred: Master's degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management) and relevant professional certifications. Experience in professional services or consulting, with knowledge of service procurement and project management. Familiarity with Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs and strategies for contingent workforce management. Experience in public sector contracting, focusing on compliance and supplier diversity. Proficiency with analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI for advanced data visualization. Awareness of emerging trends in procurement such as automation and digital transformation. Compensation: The salary for this role ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 annually, based on several factors including location, experience, and education.
