The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement quality control plans and inspection procedures. Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and report on quality performance. Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities (e.g., FMEA, PPAP). Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) processes and documentation. Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D problem-solving). Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100). Demonstrated ability in statistical analysis and problem-solving using data. Bonus QualificationsSix Sigma Black Belt certification. Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) quality modules.
