Overview & Responsibilities Are you a college Junior or Senior looking for an exciting internship in Finance or Business? Republic Finance is on the lookout for enthusiastic interns to join our Branch Operations program! As a Branch Operations Trainee, you will have the chance to explore the daily functions of our branches while getting familiar with the organization and the various career paths available. You will collaborate with team members and leaders to gain practical experience, contributing to operations including: the Republic Way sales and customer service philosophy, compliance training, loan closings, and leadership development. You will also participate in one or more branch operations projects in collaboration with other departments. This is your opportunity to build on your academic foundation and pave the way for a promising career with Republic Finance! Key Responsibilities: You will become licensed and undergo an accelerated Assistant Branch Manager training to understand the loan process and necessary regulations. Assist with the preparation and processing of loan origination, including document preparation, auditing closed files, and preparing files for funding. Spend valuable time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to learn about responsibilities at higher levels and discover your promotional pathway within the company. Attend regional meetings and workshops during your internship to broaden your understanding of the Branch Operations division. Get involved in branch operations process improvement projects. Gain insights into corporate roles that often prefer backgrounds in branch operations (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.) and learn about our benefits program. Requirements: You must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enthusiastic, reliable, and demonstrates a strong work ethic. Fluency in Spanish is a mandatory requirement for this position. You should be able to commit to working a minimum of 18-20 hours per week. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. You will need to pass a criminal background check, credit history check, and a pre-employment drug screening. You must meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products, based on a criminal background assessment by the state's department of insurance.
