Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in various pharmacy practices, in compliance with state and federal regulations. Utilize pharmacy systems to efficiently obtain patient information and process prescriptions, coaching others when certified. Create a memorable and positive customer experience through friendly interactions. Customer Experience Responsibilities: Welcome patients and assist them with products and services, addressing any questions or issues to enhance their experience. Demonstrate and promote customer service best practices to the team. Build strong relationships with our most valued customers. Operational Duties: Support the practice of pharmacy under the supervision of the pharmacist, ensuring compliance with all policies. Process prescriptions accurately by entering details, verifying accuracy, and managing workflow effectively. Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality improvement protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately and assist customers with product location. Manage inventory tasks and assist with clinical services when necessary. Cultivate relationships with the medical community through outreach efforts. Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment. Training & Development: Achieve and maintain your PTCB certification as part of your professional growth. Participate in training and continuing education to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy trends. Qualifications: Fluent in English. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a retail environment, preferably with Walgreens. Strong math and computer skills to support prescription accuracy. Knowledge of inventory control processes.
