Cath Lab Technologist in Chippewa Falls, WI

Support cardiac and interventional radiology procedures as a Cath Lab Technologist in a dynamic hospital setting located in Chippewa Falls, WI. This contract opportunity involves working at a well-equipped medical center with two state-of-the-art suites/labs handling an average of six cases daily, including coronary, IR, and vascular interventions. Key Responsibilities: Scrub, monitor, and circulate during catheterization lab cases. Assist with general x-ray and pan imaging as needed. Collaborate with cardiologists and the interventional team during procedures. Use Cerner and Merge EMR systems for documentation and case management. Participate in on-call coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a response time of 30 minutes. Adhere to hospital dress code and scrub color (light blue scrubs provided). Complete department-specific orientation and competency training promptly. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Proven experience working in a cath lab environment with a strong understanding of IR and cardiac cases (EP cases not included). Ability to scrub and support imaging-guided procedures efficiently. Familiarity with Cerner and Merge systems. Responsible, reliable with the ability to respond to call duties effectively. Note: Previous employment with the medical center requires a minimum six-month gap before reapplying. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call evenings Monday-Thursdays (5:00 PM to 6:30 AM). On-call Friday through Sunday, 24 hours. Holiday on-call as needed.
