Logistics coordinator

Randstad is currenlty seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our client in Henrico, VA. This position is responsible for performing administrative and physical tasks involved in the storing, counting and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Packages, receives, ships and moves materials through warehouse process by performing the following duties. 1st and 2nd shift positions are currently avaiable. salary: $42,000 - $43,680 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Check to ensure if material was delivered correctly. Moves pallets to the holding area and sorts material by product type. Ensure that the oldest material is delivered first. Package parts in assigned packaging using established standards. Package material for shipment ensures accuracy of product and paperwork. Stock material on shelves ensures accuracy and neatness. Label all problem parts and route to the appropriate area. Examine box/labels and determine receivable type and enter information on products into systems. Keep the work area free of debris and may audit kits for accuracy. Performs all tasks involved in the distribution flow of material, supplies, and equipment. Verifies goods received against bills of lading, purchase orders, or other documents.
