Job Title: Java Developer (Strong Oracle Database Experience) Job ID: 26-00647 Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite 1 day/week, Remote 4 days) Duration: 12 months of contract The Client is seeking a Java Developer to support and enhance the client Dept, a web-based budget management platform used by state agencies and universities. This role involves application development, maintenance, database support, automation scripting, and system transition support as the organization moves toward a new SaaS budget system. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, test, and document Java web applications Support IBIS enhancements and ongoing maintenance Write SQL queries and support Oracle database operations Create and maintain Unix/Linux scripts, cron jobs, and automation Assist with system transition through code analysis and reverse engineering Collaborate with developers, business users, and system integrators Required Skills 5+ years of Java enterprise web application development Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security, WebFlux) Hibernate/MyBatis with JPA Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c) and advanced SQL Maven or Gradle Git or SVN Unix/Linux scripting, cron jobs, shell scripting Oracle SQL Developer or TOAD Preferred Skills AWS (or Azure/GCP) cloud knowledge Government experience WebSphere/WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative development environment with business stakeholders.
