The Purchasing Manager will be managing the suppliers sourcing, developing new vendors to support the business, the role will also be involved in drafting contracts, deal negotiation and managing suppliers through the whole purchasing process. The Purchasing Manager will be also covering different strategic topics like risk management, Make & Buy policy, and global sourcing alignment to generate the highest competitive advantage for the company. Manage purchasing day to day activities, strategic plans, projects and adherence to policies Manage overall performances for RFQ process from inquiry to final price offer and sourcing decisions Coordinate the inquiries and projects assigned to the purchasing team and effectively achieve the company's operational goal. Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies Develop new suppliers according to business needs and sourcing strategy Monitor supplier performance indicators and roll out appropriate actions accordingly Manage supplier costs reduction, savings by using synergy and global leverage in line with the purchasing team. Tracking and reporting key metrics and project deliverables Assess, manage and mitigate suppliers' risks Negotiate supply agreements, commercial terms & conditions and specific deals with approved vendors. Ensure projects milestones, deliverables and overall supplier readiness are meeting the project timeline from business award to part approval and serial production. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred, preferred areas: Business Management or international business-related fields Master's degree is a plus Seven (7) years minimum experience working in purchasing or procurement in manufacturing environment Three (3) minimum experience leading a team Strong leadership capabilities with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Work Environment/Physical Demands/Equipment Used This position is located in a manufacturing facility which requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting, twisting, and bending. This position requires approximately 10% of time spent on the production floor and 90% in a general office environment. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs. Health and Safety - PPE Requirements Safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoes are to be worn at all times when on the production floor.
