Primary Care Physician Lead

As the Primary Care Physician Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our multi-disciplinary care team, addressing a variety of health-related challenges while not only providing excellent clinical care but also leading and educating a dedicated group of clinicians. Your responsibilities will include: Direct clinical care with a portion of time dedicated to administrative oversight and improvement initiatives. Collaborating with leadership on strategic advances in healthcare delivery and operational efficiencies. Overseeing the performance and professional development of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Managing patient care including education on wellness, prevention, and early detection of health issues. Participating in quality improvement projects and mentoring the clinical team to optimize patient outcomes. Required Qualifications: Current and unrestricted medical license in South Carolina, or willingness to obtain one. Graduation from an accredited MD or DO program. Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Engagement in integrated team-based care practices. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing a Medicare Advantage panel of patients. Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators and best practices in value-based care. 3-5 years of clinical experience in a similar role. Your career at CenterWell Senior Primary Care will be rewarding.
