The Application Development & Maintenance team plays a crucial role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our software systems within a collaborative environment. Role Overview As a Senior Business Solutions Analyst in IT, you will primarily support our advanced WaveMark Supply Management & Workflow Solutions. This SaaS platform offers healthcare providers and manufacturers cutting-edge technology to manage supplies efficiently. Your work with advanced hardware, including RFID technology, and a cloud-based software analytics platform will ensure comprehensive visibility and control over supplies, ranging from cost-effective commodities to high-value medical devices, ultimately leading to more efficient and cost-effective patient care. Your role will also focus on protecting the organization’s digital assets by designing, implementing, monitoring, and enforcing robust security processes across applications and operations. You will collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams, as well as compliance departments, to ensure our security practices are fully integrated. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating effective mitigation strategies that align with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Application Portfolio Management (APM): Manage and maintain accurate APM records for WaveMark and MarginAnalysis. Monitor deadlines for APM resiliency and update necessary tracking systems. Oversee Archer dashboards for compliance deadlines and address overdue issues. Facilitate regular status calls with stakeholders on application resiliency and remediation initiatives. Collaborate with IT and business teams for record updates and reporting. Application Security & Compliance: Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities to prioritize remediation efforts. Work closely with product management and development teams to align security fixes with business objectives. Integrate application logs into the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system. Develop testing and validation processes for security systems. Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulations. Support security incident response activities using SIEM technologies. Review security policies and procedures against established frameworks. Assist in configuring application security tools. Monitor compliance with application security standards and assist in investigations. Design custom tools for security integration in development processes as needed. Qualifications: 2-4 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Familiarity with SDLC and DevSecOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of application security controls. Knowledge of security control frameworks, particularly the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and objectivity in all assignments. Quick learner with a strong capacity to adapt to new technologies. Proficient in analyzing information systems with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Understanding of authentication and authorization methodologies. Experience analyzing SCA/SAST scan results and collaborating on remediation. Skilled in creating dashboards with tools like Splunk or Rapid7. Familiarity with Veracode is a plus. Possession of information security certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, is highly desirable. Expectations: Utilize your knowledge and technical capabilities to perform a variety of tasks. Engage in projects of moderate scope and complexity. Identify and propose solutions to various technical challenges. Make sound judgments based on established parameters. Receive guidance on new projects to enhance clarity. Your work will be reviewed for quality and reasoning.
