Job Description Join our dynamic Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) team, a cutting-edge cloud application designed to empower sellers with the tools to create optimal product configurations and generate accurate quotes swiftly. As we develop a next-generation AI-driven configurator, we are looking for an experienced engineer and thought leader in the Configurator framework to be a pivotal part of this innovative journey. Minimum Qualifications: 10+ years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available cloud applications. Proven ability to write efficient code in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented languages. Experience in web application development utilizing J2EE and microservice frameworks like Helidon. Strong technical skills in JavaScript frameworks, HTML, XML, SOAP, and REST Web services. Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker. Proficient knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and fundamentals of distributed systems. Solid understanding of Linux environments. Strong working knowledge of AI, large language models, and agentic platforms. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in building or implementing any commerce or CPQ solutions. Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce/Fusion Sales) or ERP (Fusion, Ebusiness suite, SAP) modules. We prefer candidates who can work from our Redwood Shores, CA location. Responsibilities: Take ownership of projects while collaborating with a geographically diverse team of world-class engineers. Drive transformational changes in a highly technical and dynamic environment. Work closely with product strategy/owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver user stories/backlog items with the highest quality. Be agile, self-driven, and capable of advancing a project even amid uncertainty. Demonstrate expertise in performance optimization, system architecture, and engineering best practices. Develop scalable, reliable diagnostic tools that ensure fault tolerance, telemetry, and automatic recovery during errors. This position offers a competitive hiring range in USD from: $102,200 to $251,600 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses, equity, and compensation deferral.
