Job Description

Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Physical Therapist in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, where your clinical expertise will light the path to healing for patients across a spectrum of rehab settings. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to shape recovery, inspire confidence, and expand your practice through varied experiences across the country. From the moment you start on 04/06/2026, you’ll join a purpose-driven team that values skill, compassion, and the impact you make every day. As you consider this opportunity, picture the Berkshires at their most inviting: quiet streets lined with fall color, outdoor trails that reward every step, vibrant cultural events, and a community that welcomes you as part of the family. Massachusetts offers scenic beauty, diverse landscapes, and a rich tapestry of history that enhances both your personal and professional life. Pittsfield sits at the heart of this region—an ideal base for a clinical professional who loves outdoor adventure, excellent patient care, and meaningful collaboration. Location Benefits: Working in Pittsfield means embracing the best of New England charm with access to world-class outdoor recreation, dining, and arts, all set against a backdrop of rolling hills and lush forests. You’ll enjoy a supportive community that prioritizes work-life balance, safe neighborhoods, and convenient access to cultural attractions, shops, and specialty care services. For flexible professionals, there’s also the unique allure of travel opportunities across diverse U.S. locations, expanding your clinical perspective while maintaining a consistent support network. Our travel assignments are designed to let you explore different patient populations and care environments—outpatient clinics, acute rehab, outpatient neuro and musculoskeletal settings—while providing the resources you need to thrive. You’ll benefit from a national network that streamlines housing, relocation support, and administrative assistance, so you can focus on delivering outstanding patient care and advancing your expertise. When you’re not in Pittsfield, you may have the chance to experience other communities across the country, broadening your professional horizons and enriching your personal story. Role Specifics and Benefits: In this Travel Physical Therapist role, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of conditions affecting mobility and function. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, administering manual therapy techniques, guiding therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activity modification. You’ll monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document outcomes in a clear, compliant manner to support optimal patient trajectories. Collaboration will be central—partnering with PT assistants, occupational therapists, and physicians to coordinate comprehensive care, optimize discharge planning, and educate patients and families on home exercise programs. This is a hands-on role that invites you to bring your specialty strengths into practice, whether you’re applying orthopedic, neuro, or general rehabilitation approaches, and to grow through exposure to diverse patient populations and care settings. In addition to clinical duties, you’ll have opportunities to mentor junior staff, contribute to program development, and pursue specialty certifications or advanced training as part of your ongoing professional development. We offer competitive compensation that recognizes your expertise and dedication. The weekly pay range is $2,247-$2,384, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week to provide stability and planning confidence. Your assignment will have built-in extension opportunities, allowing you to deepen patient relationships, refine your skills, and contribute to program outcomes over time. We also provide robust housing assistance, making transitions smoother, whether you’re relocating to Pittsfield or joining from another region. A sign-on or completion bonus may be offered to recognize your commitment and impact, with clear pathways for continued growth within the organization. And because traveling for work can be demanding, you’ll have 24/7 support while you’re on assignment, with a dedicated travel team ready to assist with scheduling changes, resource access, and any clinical or logistical needs that arise. Our support extends beyond the clinical realm—expect comprehensive guidance on licensure requirements, credentialing, and compliance to help you focus on what you do best: delivering exceptional patient care and advancing your professional journey. Company Values: Our organization is driven by a shared commitment to empower every staff member to reach their highest potential. We believe in nurturing talent through mentoring, ongoing education, and clear pathways to progression—whether you’re pursuing leadership opportunities, specialty certifications, or expanded patient-care responsibilities. We cultivate a supportive, inclusive work environment where collaboration and open communication are celebrated, feedback is valued, and every clinician’s contribution is recognized. Your well-being matters, too: we invest in resources that sustain your vitality, balance, and professional satisfaction, because when you thrive, patients benefit—and so does the broader care community you touch on each assignment. Call to Action: If you’re ready to elevate your surgical, motor, and functional rehabilitation practice while exploring new places and cultures, apply now to join a company that values your clinical voice and supports your growth. This is your invitation to shape outcomes, expand your horizons, and enjoy a stable, rewarding career with a team that stands beside you every step of the way. Take the next step toward a dynamic, fulfilling chapter in your physical therapy career—one that blends Massachusetts’ beauty with nationwide opportunities and a clear path to advancement.
