You will be responsible for the timely review of clinical information to meet governmental regulations and insurance guidelines, ensuring accurate reimbursement while supporting Williamson Health's mission. Position Requirements: Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee. Preferred experience in Emergency Room or Critical Care. Case Management Certification within 3 years of employment. Nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution. Work Experience: 5+ years of related experience in a hospital or managed care setting is required. Previous utilization or case management experience is preferred. Skills and Training: Strong clinical knowledge in medical/surgical nursing or critical care. Excellent organization, time management, and critical thinking abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting medical records. Familiarity with Meditech, Allscripts, and basic computer operations. Knowledge of governmental and insurance guidelines related to case management compliance. Positive attitude and adaptability to new processes. Physical Environment: Office and clinical environment with potential exposure to pathogens. Physical Effort: Ability to use telephones and computers for extended periods, capable of walking/standing up to 2 hours per day. Performance Standards: Exhibit effective time management with assigned workload. Timely reviews of patients and efficient documentation of care. Maintain precise, effective communication regarding patient care and discharge planning. Proactively initiate appeals and process management for patient admissions. Ensure compliance with all organizational processes and standards.
