Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement quality control plans and procedures for manufacturing processes. Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Utilize statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve manufacturing process capability and performance. Support new product introduction by ensuring quality requirements are met through APQP and PPAP processes. Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement in supplied materials. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools such as FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean Six Sigma. Strong understanding of ISO 9001 or other relevant industry quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100). Demonstrated ability to apply statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques to improve product and process quality. Bonus QualificationsASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification. Proficiency with statistical software packages such as Minitab or JMP. Experience conducting internal or external quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in quality improvement projects.
