Job Description

Industrial Equipment Service Engineer We are looking for an enthusiastic Industrial Equipment Service Engineer who excels in dynamic industrial settings and is open to constant travel, often engaging in assignments lasting several weeks. This position is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on tasks, tackling complex equipment challenges, and assisting clients with installation, troubleshooting, and optimizing systems. Experience with dryers, blenders, extrusion machines, and conveyors is essential. Responsibilities: Conduct onsite troubleshooting, repairs, and warranty services on industrial machinery. Program and debug PLCs utilizing ladder, STL, and structured control languages. Lead the rollout and commissioning of PLC/HMI upgrades and process control systems. Evaluate system and equipment performance to pinpoint root causes and propose enhancements. Install electrical equipment and controls based on detailed drawings, diagrams, and specifications. Work with robotics, automation systems, and vision technologies. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, engineering notes, and technical manuals. Assist clients in the safe operation, configuration, and maintenance of industrial machines. Team up with internal groups to confirm designs, conduct testing, and ensure systems meet user needs. Requirements: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude paired with hands-on maintenance and repair experience. Solid understanding of PLCs, robotics, industrial controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Aptitude to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documents. Proficient in diagnosing faults, replacing components, and returning equipment to safe operation. Comfortable servicing and troubleshooting large machinery and production equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently in diverse field environments. Familiarity with vision systems, CNC machinery, and automation technologies. Possess a valid driver's license; forklift certification and journeyman electrician credentials are advantageous. Willingness to travel extensively and commit to extended assignments.
