Purpose of Role The Category Marketing Specialist - Training plays a key role in crafting and sharing compelling, consumer-focused narratives within the Training category. This position is dedicated to championing the Women's Training consumer through a collaborative approach, partnering with Senior Managers and cross-functional teams. Your Impact Lead the creation and implementation of seasonal category toolkits, ensuring Women's Training products and narratives are prominently featured in broader co-gender marketing campaigns. Act as a subject-matter expert on Women's Training, articulating technical features and innovations in ways that connect with consumers. Conduct in-depth research on Women's Training consumers, sport culture, and competition to turn findings into actionable insights. Collaborate with Senior Managers to develop strategic briefs and engaging presentations that integrate consumer insights and data. Work closely with regional marketing teams to ensure that global strategies are tailored yet consistent across markets. Manage seasonal product seeding and activation for Women's Training stories, from inception to execution and reporting. Assist in planning photo and content creation to effectively showcase Women's Training products. Participate in travel for photoshoots, market exploration, and gathering consumer and athlete insights. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in brand or category marketing, merchandising, or related consumer-focused roles within global consumer, sport, or lifestyle brands. Proven ability to translate consumer, athlete, cultural, and product insights into impactful storytelling and deliverables. Growing understanding of performance apparel and footwear, with a knack for communicating technical innovations and benefits. Experience in contributing to global marketing initiatives with an awareness of regional nuances. Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and delivering consistent, high-quality results. Effective communicator, skilled at presenting ideas, insights, and works-in-progress to diverse stakeholders. A deep passion for performance sports, training culture, and athlete-focused product development. Willingness to travel periodically for shoots and market visits. Workplace Location Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office. Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week. Travel: 10-20% required. Base Compensation: $67,547.98 - $84,434.97 USD. Most new hires start within this range, with opportunities for growth.
