Creative Product Designer

Responsibilities: Translate broad conceptual ideas into valuable solutions for a user base of over 2 billion. Simplify complex actions into user-friendly interfaces through well-thought-out flows and experiences. Evolve and define visual systems by crafting new experiences or layouts. Shape the strategic direction of Facebook products by being a key contributor to decision-making processes. Engage in feedback loops with fellow designers and the broader product team to continuously enhance quality. Work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists, ensuring excellence in user experience from concept to launch. Effectively communicate your design work to a broader product team and leadership, articulating goals and concepts clearly. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 4 years of experience designing complex software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that align with business goals. Experience in conducting usability testing and gathering diverse feedback to refine product strategies. A proven track record of leading design initiatives and presenting to executive-level stakeholders. Expertise in prototyping tools and creating high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts. Preferred Qualifications: Able to connect your initiatives to broader company goals while fostering teamwork. Demonstrated leadership in areas beyond product development that enhance team dynamics and strengthen the work culture, such as mentorship roles.
