The opportunity As a vital member of EY's Oracle Services team, you will engage in full lifecycle initiatives, helping clients to architect, implement, and manage their Oracle applications and technology. This role focuses on Oracle Cloud Finance and entails participating in critical phases of ERP projects, including governance, requirements gathering, functional design, testing, system configuration, training, and post-production support. You'll also contribute to business development activities. In the position of Senior Technology Analyst, you will play an essential role in connecting business needs with technical solutions. This involves collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, and ensuring that the implemented technology effectively supports business processes. Your key responsibilities In this role, you'll actively engage with clients and internal teams, tackling challenges that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. This position may involve travel to meet clients, allowing you to foster relationships and gain a deeper understanding of their needs. Key responsibilities include: Interacting with business stakeholders to assess business models and processes. Analyzing newly implemented technology solutions to verify alignment with business requirements. Working closely with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions. Skills and attributes for success Success in this role requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills. Your ability to communicate and build relationships will be crucial. Desired skills and attributes include: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in technology business requirements definition and analysis. Experience in system configuration design and technology cost-benefit analysis. Adept at managing client relationships and effective communication. Effective communication with finance/technology management and end users. Development of long-term relationships and networks. Ability to guide and mentor junior team members. A proven track record in complex problem-solving and relationship management. To qualify for the role, you must have A Bachelor's degree. 2 to 4 years of relevant experience with an ERP system or as an Oracle financials super user. Demonstrated experience with one or more Oracle Financial Applications such as General Ledger, Payables, or Receivables. Preferably have 2-3 full lifecycle implementations in a relevant area. Familiarity with Oracle methodologies like OUM or AIM. Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. Willingness to travel 60% or more of the time. Ideally, you'll also have An MBA or Master’s degree. Cloud Certifications in Oracle Cloud Applications.
