This contract opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists to provide services for students from early childhood through 12th grade in an in-person setting. Located in the Waukegan, Illinois area, this position focuses on the Extended School Year (ESY) program running from June 15, 2026, to July 26, 2026. Multiple positions are available, with workdays Monday through Thursday, from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., except for the first and last days which end at 3:15 p.m. Responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy to students with a range of communication disorders. Collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to support student progress and positive outcomes. Desired qualifications for this role: Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Professional Educator License (PEL) preferred Experience working with students from early childhood through high school Ability to provide therapy in a school-based setting Pending Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and Clinical Fellowship (CF) approvals are welcomed This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
