Join our dynamic team and make a difference as a: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist ABOUT THE ROLE As a key player in our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing vital tasks related to the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Your expertise will help ensure the efficiency and reliability of our operations. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Maintain and repair mechanical systems throughout the facility. Provide oversight and support to contractor personnel. Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs; ensuring equipment services and lubrications are conducted as necessary. Engage in formal and on-the-job training programs to enhance your technical and non-technical skills; participate in cross-training opportunities. Work on a rotating shift schedule and weekends as assigned. Complete additional duties as required. Promote a culture of safety by adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required Education: High School Diploma/GED Additional Education: Preferred completion of 2 years of technical college in a related field Required Computer and Software Skills: Strong computer and systems skills Travel Requirements: Minimal travel needed Additional Requirements: Proven maintenance technical skills, including troubleshooting air compressors, repairing bearings, drives, equipment installation, lubrication, piping, rigging, welding/cutting, and fabrication. 2-4 years of industrial experience required; 4-5 years of experience in industrial chemical maintenance preferred. Must possess a Valid Driver's License. Willingness to assist other departments as necessary. Must adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), ensuring a clean shaven face for respirator fittings.
