Trailer Movement Specialist

Job Position Key Responsibilities: As a Trailer Movement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and loading of trailers. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Preparation: Complete Vehicle Condition Reports (VCR) for the jockey truck and forklift. Organize and maintain a clean work area to promote safety and efficiency. Trailer Jockey Responsibilities: Move trailers from the parking lot to dock doors and vice versa as directed. Collaborate with foreman and supervisor to transport raw material loads to designated doors. Install or remove trailer stands as needed. Trailer Loading Duties: Review Bills of Lading (BOL) to confirm product loading requirements. Conduct final certification for all outbound loads to ensure accuracy. Consult with the foreman regarding any out-of-stock items. Finalization of Loads: Wrap any partial pallets upon completion of the loading process. Process paperwork in the National Inventory System (NIS) or hand it to the supervisor for processing. Clean-Up Tasks: Complete the organization of partial pallets and store mixed pallets appropriately. Adhere to proper housekeeping standards in your work area at all times.
