Overview: The Commissioning Operations Manager is essential in ensuring the smooth start-up, testing, and validation of systems within a data center facility. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning activities across various disciplines—including mechanical, electrical, controls, and integrated systems. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to design intent, client specifications, and Tier certification standards (Uptime / TIA-942). We seek a candidate with a robust technical background and a deep understanding of MEP and ELV systems integration in mission-critical environments. Travel Details: This is a traveling role requiring up to 100% travel across the US. You may be assigned to project sites in various states including NC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, and WY, typically for 6-8 months at a time. Eligible candidates will receive per diem to assist with living expenses, relocation assistance, and potential vehicle allowances. A home rotation is also available once a month. Responsibilities: Commissioning Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain commissioning plans and ensure all systems are installed and tested according to specifications. Documentation & Quality Control: Review design documents and maintain comprehensive commissioning logs and reports throughout the project. Interface & Coordination: Collaborate closely with construction teams, clients, and vendors to ensure test readiness and timely resolution of site issues. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental policies while validating system performance. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent). 5+ years of experience in testing and commissioning, including 3+ years in OFCI. Strong understanding of MEP systems integration and commissioning processes. Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 / year, based on experience. 401(k) with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and flexible spending accounts.
