Job Description Join the Oracle Health CareAware Device Integration team, a forward-thinking group dedicated to seamlessly linking medical devices for efficient data exchange from devices to patient charts. The CareAware Device Integration team oversees various innovative products, including Bedside Medical Device Integration (BMDI), Laboratory Medical Device Integration (LMDI), Mobile Vitals Collection (MVC), and Infusion Suite. As an Integrated Technologies Consultant II, your role will be pivotal in delivering consulting and implementation services to clients across North America, facilitating the integration of our medical device connectivity solutions. Duties involve deploying hardware and software as well as providing clinical workflow consulting. You will guide clients through new, add-on, and optimization deployments of integrated devices across diverse clinical environments like lab analyzers, anesthesia systems, patient monitors, respiratory ventilators, and infusion pumps. You will support clients through regular project events, including testing calls and status meetings, while contributing to best practices and troubleshooting integration challenges in partnership with management. Key Responsibilities: Execute onsite and remote implementations of CareAware Device Integration products. Lead technical discovery sessions, offering expertise tailored to client environments. Deliver technical training to clients, including Clinical Informatics, IT, Lab Analysts, and Biomed, in both onsite and remote formats. Contribute to established processes, methodologies, and best practices for technical implementation and documentation. Advise on deployment strategies for Device Integration, considering interdependencies and design impacts. Provide client support outside standard business hours when necessary. Build strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Manage effective communication and planning across multiple product deployments. Balance multiple assignments to meet utilization targets. Continuously update your knowledge of CareAware Device Integration products and services. Escalate relevant issues to engineering and support management as needed. Offer coached guidance to internal teams regarding product experience. Basic Qualifications: A minimum of 6 years of combined education and experience in implementing software products in healthcare or technology settings. A Bachelor's degree in fields such as Information Technology, Healthcare Business or Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with medical devices, including anesthesia carts, physiological monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and laboratory analyzers. Understanding clinical workflows in settings such as Emergency Departments, ICUs, Med Surgs, Laboratories, and Perioperative units. One year of technical troubleshooting experience. Familiarity with Linux platforms or similar technologies. Proficiency in SQL or relational databases. Basic knowledge of networking principles (DNS, TCP Connections). Understanding of CareAware architecture. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders up to mid-level management. Expectations: Willingness to travel up to 80%, typically from Monday through Thursday. Flexibility to work additional or irregular hours as necessary.
