The Assistant Vice President of Data Integration Strategy will spearhead the leadership and strategic initiatives surrounding data acquisition products and storage solutions within the Interoperability function at Humana. This pivotal role is responsible for managing the collection, integration, and governance of essential data assets such as medical records, supplemental data, ADT feeds, and other relevant sources, ensuring their accessibility, security, and alignment with enterprise-wide interoperability goals. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of data acquisition strategies, encompassing medical records, supplemental data, ADT feeds, and other healthcare data sources. Oversee the design and optimization of enterprise data storage solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with industry regulations. Forge and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners to enhance data acquisition capabilities while aligning with corporate objectives. Manage and optimize data integration pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data flow across business and technology platforms. Uphold governance, privacy, and security standards in all data acquisition and storage practices. Establish and monitor key performance indicators for data acquisition initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop robust interoperability solutions reliant on reliable data sources. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of data acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Supervise budget planning and financial management for data acquisition initiatives, optimizing resource allocation. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data acquisition and storage to drive strategic enhancements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. At least 8 years of progressive experience in digital product development, data acquisition, or data management leadership roles, ideally within the healthcare sector. Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale data products and enterprise storage solutions. Strong understanding of healthcare data types, interoperability standards, EHRs, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FHIR, HL7, API integration). Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams, influencing across all organizational levels. Experience working with vendors and collaborating on feature development and roadmaps. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and success. This position is remote, but occasional travel to Humana's offices may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: The starting base pay for this position ranges from $203,400 to $279,800 per year, with the potential for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
