Provide dedicated 1:1 health support to students in a Michigan school setting, assisting with personal care and medical needs throughout the school day. This contract position is based in Clio, MI, serving students in grades K-8. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized health assistance to a designated student, ensuring their well-being during school hours. Assist with daily care needs and follow protocols set by the school nurse to address health concerns. Support the student with mobility and personal care, fostering independence and inclusion. Accompany the student to classes, lunch, recess, and other activities, maintaining safety and support. Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies according to training and school policy. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare training or CNA certification preferred. Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain promptly. Experience working with children or in healthcare settings is an asset. Strong compassion, patience, and reliability. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
