Join Butterball as a Lead SAP Security and Basis Administrator, where you will play a pivotal role in managing SAP Security (user administration, role design, GRC controls) and SAP BASIS (system administration, performance monitoring, transports, upgrades). Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, overseeing tickets, system incidents, daily operational issues, release testing, system optimizations, and the implementation of new features while supporting relevant teams to ensure system processes are effective. Quickly troubleshoot and resolve incidents, including on-call and after-hours support as necessary. Implement patches, kernel upgrades, and support packs, as well as facilitate system refreshes and client copies. Identify business process improvement opportunities and conduct gap analysis, driving the delivery of enhancements that optimize efficiency, uphold data integrity, and add significant business value. Support complementary systems and foster collaboration across various modules. Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulations, assisting with audit activities including Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis in partnership with GRC and audit teams. Design, build, test, and maintain SAP roles and authorizations, adhering to best practices in security and governance. Manage user administration tasks such as provisioning, deprovisioning, access changes, and the management of emergency access. Oversee the administration of the SAP landscape (production, QA, and development) with a focus on system monitoring, performance tuning, and disaster recovery processes. Manage the Transport Management System (TMS) and coordinate transports across environments. Monitor background jobs, interfaces, and overall system availability. Coordinate with infrastructure teams concerning OS, database, and cloud/on-premises integrations. Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience) Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent expertise in the field. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong background in SAP Security and BASIS. Experience in supporting SAP integrations and interfaces. Extensive understanding of SAP authorization concepts, role design, and user administration. Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant business systems (i.e., ECC, S4/HANA, or other ERP systems). Excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills. Strong understanding of various Project Management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Proven collaboration abilities, sharing knowledge and best practices effectively. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Advanced degree in a related field. Certifications in SAP Security and BASIS. 8+ years of relevant experience. Experience in Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, Retail, or related industries. Experience with large-scale SAP transformations or S/4HANA go-lives. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, kneel, and use hands to operate a computer and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Working Conditions & Travel Requirements Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate. Travel may be required for up to 15% of the time.
