Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)Specialty: Adult Emergency Department Shift: Night Shift - 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30) Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks Job Location - Syracuse, NY Position Description The Emergency Department is seeking experienced night-shift Registered Nurses to support the Adult ED. Candidates must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers is strongly preferred. This position includes every other weekend and some holidays as required by the unit schedule. Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute Emergency Department setting Perform comprehensive nursing assessments with minimal orientation and supervision Provide care to adult and pediatric emergency patients Manage high-acuity cases in a trauma-capable facility Accurately document patient care using the electronic medical record Collaborate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Current New York State RN license (unrestricted) BLS certification (must be current and maintainable) Minimum 1.5 years of recent ER experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care hospital of similar size and trauma level Travelers must have experience in equal or higher-level hospitals or trauma centers EPIC EMR experience preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation No history of being named as a defendant in a professional liability claim Must have legal authorization to work in the United States Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check For more details reach at sthakur@or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807.
