Your Responsibilities: Design and prepare a variety of balanced menus that cater to different dietary needs. Cook delicious meals, snacks, and baked goods, ensuring top-notch quality, flavor, and presentation. Follow food safety protocols meticulously to safeguard the well-being of the crew. Keep the galley clean and organized while ensuring all kitchen equipment is maintained in excellent condition. Enhance the dining experience by accommodating special requests whenever possible. Collaborate with the vessel master to manage and adhere to budget guidelines. Travel to designated port locations based on crew requirements. What You Need: ServeSafe Certification. A minimum of 3 years of verified cooking or chef experience. Willingness to commit to 28-day rotating assignments on a vessel. Ability to secure a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) by your interview date. Valid driver's license. Familiarity with maritime catering and provisioning. Exceptional culinary skills and the ability to adapt to various cuisines. Understanding of food safety standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to thrive in a compact, dynamic environment. Commitment to safety and crew wellness. Preferred Qualifications: Prior culinary experience in the maritime industry.
